- 1/4 cup water
- 8 or more (depending on thickness) asparagus organic, bottoms snapped
- 1/2 tbsp, or to taste "butter" (Margarine or your choice of vegan butter)
- 1/2 tbsp, or to taste lemon juice fresh, organic
- pinch salt or to taste
In a large skillet, bring the water to a boil. Add the asparagus; cook, covered, about 4 minutes; drain.
Return the asparagus to the skillet and add the "butter"; cook over medium heat, tossing until the butter melts. Add the lemon juice and salt; toss.
